Getting Stressed………
What a weekend! Last night we went out with some friends, had a good time. I drank too much, as the chocolate martini’s went down too smoothly. Tasted like chocolate milk to me. Of course it didn’t mix well with a Mai Tai that I drank earlier, so I ended up nice and sick. Today was a very crappy day at first, with my hangover. Now I truly do not understand those people that go out every weekend drinking. I am so glad that I rarely ever do it. Now after last night, I won’t be ready to have another night like that for a good year. The feeling afterwards is terrible, and definitely not worth it.
So we are very very close to done being packed. Now we have the stress of matching paint to these walls here. The Landlord didn’t leave any useable paint behind, so all we had was the color swatches and codes on top of each can. So tonight we tried to touch up an area on the wall that we had mixed, and lo and behold, the damn color is off! So pissed! We cannot return the paint, and now we have to wait and see if the Landlord will expect us to repaint the whole entire room now. OH MY GOD! That had better not be the case. I don’t have time for that nonsense. The only stressful thing now is the frickin painting here. This is one of those times that I would love to say “Fuck it” and leave. If only!
Oh well, at least my headache is finally gone tonight. Sure took a while. I really look forward to sleep tonight. I was sure that with the daylight savings time change, my Son would be awake even earlier than usual, but he wasn’t! That was a very good thing this morning.
Tomorrow the moving truck will be delivered. Tomorrow night we will be super busy loading it full of our boxes. Tuesday the moving men come and load the big stuff and then off it goes……..It will be a big sigh of relief once it is all loaded up.
I am incredibly exhausted, so I think I am very ready for bed soon.
