I hope all of you out there have a great New Years Eve!!  Be safe, be happy, but make sure and have fun!!  Whether you are staying in and having fun or going out, be especially safe and have fun!!  We just got home from our family dinner out with the kids.  We had a good time.  Too much to eat, but we don’t go out much, so I didn’t mind!  Now, I am tired as my belly is quite full and I have no idea if I will make it until Midnight….I will try, but if I don’t, no big deal…….I am not a night person, so staying awake too late for me can be hard to do!!  Well, this will be short, but I hope you all have a fun night, whatever you decide to do!!!

Geez……….what is the matter, you all sleeping or what?  BORING!  Well, I will tell you about my day anyway:

So, we had plans with the mother in law, now calling her my MONSTER IN LAW.  She was going to take the kids tomorrow night and have a sleep over and me and my sexy man were going to go out for a nice dinner and then who knows afterwards………Well, all of a sudden today, she calls my husband at work and starts yelling and saying all kinds of hateful things to him, mostly about me.  Well, my husband being professional and at work (can’t raise his voice and make a scene),  tells her she is not allowed to talk about me like that.  Well, then she decided to call back again and leave a message.  Long story short, they had more words and my husband basically told her to kiss off.   Of course, she will not be watching the kids for us tomorrow.  FINE!  I would rather not have to rely on a person like that in any way, especially when it comes to my children.  So, instead of a nice romantic night out for just the two of us, we are as a family, going to go out for a nice dinner somewhere instead.    Then I am sure we will come home and maybe watch a good family type of movie together.   Then when the kids go to sleep, me and hubby can bring in the New Year together!!

I really don’t understand how some people in life can be like her.  Just miserable people.  If they are not mentally bullying someone in their life, then they are not happy.  Just miserable.  What do they really accomplish by acting that way?  Does that really make them that happy afterwards?  Do they really think they can just say hateful things and the other person isn’t going to react?  I mean really.   This is the bullshit I have been dealing with her for 16 years now and since my Mom died in February, she actually for the first time ever, started treating me right.  Not perfect, but better than she ever had before.  Now, today, like a split personality or something (I call her the Exorcist),  just spews all kinds of hate.  Wow.  At a loss for understanding on that one.  Don’t even want to try to figure her out.  I will be out of here soon and won’t have to deal with her much longer!  So can’t wait!

Well, that was my day mostly.  Kids were better today.   Still can’t wait for next Tuesday, but one day closer than yesterday.   We did a video last night.  Hubby put on his dew rag.  Speaking of that, is that how you spell dew rag?  Anyone out there have the right spelling, let me know!  But, the dew rag was super sexy.  Oh my, how I love those damn things!!

Oh my goodness!  I so  cannot wait for these children of mine to go back to school!  Driving me absolute bonkers!  Well, especially my Son.  He is special needs and watching him is seriously like 3 kids in 1 just by himself.   It really takes special people to care for and have enough patience with a child like that.   But what do you do?  In my case, just hope the rest of this week goes by really quickly!   So, other than that, my day was ok.  Nothing special.  Seems like Christmas was a whole month ago already and now New Years is just a couple of days away……Speaking of that, what are your plans for New Years Eve?  Anything fun?  We are hoping that the mother in law will take the kids and have a sleep over at her place and me and hubby will probably go out for a nice dinner and then a movie.   That is something we have not done in a LONG TIME!  I am not one to go to a club and pay a high fee just to walk through the door, especially just because of it being New Years Eve…..So, I would rather do the dinner and movie or just dinner and come home for some really good dessert!!  wink wink!!   Either way, I will be with my man, so I will have a great time!!  If any of you who read this ever have questions for me, ask away!!  I am not shy, and don’t offend easy, so ask away!!!  I would love to hear from you!!   Kisses this evening……..Hope to hear from you soon!!

So, all you lucky people that work M-F jobs…….Back to work tomorrow!  Aren’t you happy??!!  My husband isn’t.  He says that the time off flew by, as it usually does!  So, how was your day today?  Anything fun happen today?  Not much here.  The weather was decent and that was a good thing!  One more week and the kiddos go back to school!! YEAH!  Seems like they have been home for a month already!  Geez, what I would do for some quiet time again!  Not much longer to wait.  Tonight another man is coming over for us to meet.  I sure hope this one is decent! Maybe he won’t show up.  Don’t matter to me.  I don’t get too excited anymore when one shows up.  Sound terrible?  Probably, but can’t help it.  Well, time to go relax a bit before the company comes over.  I am already tired and yawning…..  So, maybe on Monday I will get to talk to my BK again!  Geez, must be a really busy time of year for him!  Nziemer must be online at strange times, as he is not around as often as I would like, but I will take what I can get for now!!  For now, being the key words…….Have a great night!!  Many sweet dreams to each of you!!

Saturday night………Nothing to do, nowhere to go.  Oh well.  Kids are still playing with all their too many toys from Santa and that is fine with me.   We did get out a little bit today.  Chilly!  Yesterday it was 56 degrees and sunny, today it was probably only 25 for the high, breezy and cold……How was your day?  Anything fun happen?  Just another day right?  Well, the guy last night was ok at best.  Not much life in him and I was glad to see him go.  BORING!  Definitely not another “C” and nowhere near my Lover.  Maybe someday soon I will find another one of you 2 men, but for now, I will enjoy what I got!

Hubby is out getting a movie for us to watch tonight.   Saturday night movie time.  Kids go to bed and we put in a good movie, snuggle under the blanket on the couch and eat some popcorn……That my friends, is when you know you have a good marriage!  When your Saturday night does not have to include going out to the club or out to a fancy dinner.  Staying in and snuggling on the couch with your husband/wife and a good movie,  well to me, I would much rather do that anytime!  So enjoy your evening!  Kids will be in bed soon and then it will be movie and popcorn time!   Can’t wait!  Go have some fun already!!

Well Christmas is all over….. Deals to be had today at the stores, and I did no shopping.  Well, not for anything certain.  The weather here was nice (unusually warm) for this time of year, so the snow was melting all over.  It was really nice to leave the house in my little dress, boots and no jacket!  How I hate wearing winter clothes already.   So how was your day?  I sure hope most of you had the day off.   That would really suck having to work today.  Did your Christmas turn out the way you had hoped it would?

Happy Birthday to my husband.   Today you have hit a milestone in your life.  Today you are still the greatest love of my life, the one I can truly call my best friend, my confidant and my lover.   It is hard to believe I met you at the age of 23, back when you were uncertain of what you wanted in life.  You met me at the tender age of 18 and I was new to everything.   I knew way back then that you were the one for me, even though you didn’t know it at the time.  I knew you would be a life long mate and we would have a great life together.  Here we are now.  All the hard times, and there have been several, but here we are, still together and more in love than we were back then.  Now with 3 wonderful children, a nice home and great friends, we have the world at our fingertips.   Let’s make what we want to happen, happen!!  Let’s go for it this next New Year!  I am in it with you 100% and never any less on my end.   I have complete faith in you and us, and know that together we will be happy no matter what we do!!
