Yes,  I am around still.     I have not been online hardly at all,   and I have to say that it has felt nice!   Nice to not have the internet dominate my life.     Nice to be able to spend more time outdoors and with the family.    Nice to be able to spend more time indoors with the kids and really enjoy myself without having that need of being online.

How have you all been doing?     Good here.     Settling in quite nicely in our new place and loving it more and more each day.     There is nothing more wonderful than stepping out onto the balcony and looking at the Mountains,   watching the clouds,   the sunsets and don’t get me started on the fantastic hot air balloons we see regularly.      Can you say infatuation?      What a life!!!

This weekend will be a fun one yet again for us.    The weather here is going to be cooler,   a few chances of some rain,   but nothing severe at all.     It rains a little bit here and it is a big deal.    Where I came from,  it was nothing to get a good 30+ inches of rain in 1 years time.         My 2 girls are turning a year older this weekend.     It will be different celebrating their Bday with no family here,   but they are just a phone call away.    We took them shopping tonight and they bought themselves a very nice gift w/ money that Nana sent them.

All 3 are adapting well to school and the surroundings here.     Kids are so simple when you think about it.    As long as Mommy and Daddy are around them,   they have no problems making changes.     These weeks sure have flown by!    Monday quickly becomes Tuesday and before you know it,   it’s Friday night and then Monday morning again.     That must be a life thing.     Maybe it is that way the older we get.     Time goes so fast!

Time to join in on the card game that is going on.     I am still here,   and will TRY my hardest to make more of an effort to blog more.     Maybe not every day,  but a couple times a week sounds good to me.

How have you all been?    Keeping yourselves busy I hope.      Definitely been doing so on my end.     Everyday is a busy day.    I did manage to fall asleep today on my comfy bed.     Took a good 1 hour snooze.      Our weekend was very nice and fun.    We did some sight seeing,  walking and more sight seeing.    It is so nice to know that we have all of this natural beauty all around us on a daily basis.    I definitely do not see us getting bored here at all.     There is so much to do and so many things yet to discover.     I feel truly blessed to be here,  and to have such a wonderful house to come home to as well.

The kids are adjusting to their schools just fine.    I am still getting used to my Daughters school,   as it is very large,   but I am sure I will get used to it soon.    So many little changes that a person has to make when they move somewhere totally different.     But for us,  it has been a very nice change.    One we definitely will never take for granted.

Tomorrow is Tuesday already.     The weather will be very pleasant once again,   and I am sure I will find plenty of things to do around here to keep myself busy.     We are getting a new faucet and sink in our kitchen,   so I am hoping that will be fully done by tomorrow.     I didn’t enjoy having to wash all our dishes in the upstairs bathroom sink for sure!    But once the new sink/faucet is in,   it will be incredibly nice!

I hope you had a glorious day.     We had a very nice day,  and in fact,  I did not want the Sun to set at all.    We had a very nice breakfast this morning,   then the kids searched for their Easter baskets.     After that we headed out to a very nice trail and did some sight seeing.     Then we headed to the downtown area and I hid several Easter eggs for the kids to find.    They made out like bandits!    It was fun for them.    Definitely took plenty of pictures for the family to enjoy.

We ended up having a very nice late lunch/dinner at an authentic Mexican restaurant.    So yummmmmy!!

After we got home from all of that,   we didn’t want to spend much time inside,  so we were outside pretty much the rest of the evening.     The kids have had their baths,  and I took myself a very nice bubble bath too.    Now I am so relaxed that I could easily fall asleep.

Tomorrow is my Husbands first day on his job.    That means that for a while,   I will have the whole house to myself.     Oh my!    That is going to be strange,  but I am sure it will feel nice.   I still have plenty of piddly things to do around here,  so the time will fly.   I am hoping to find myself a part time job somewhere.    Maybe work a couple of nights a week,  meet some new people,  maybe even a friend or two along the way.   That would be a nice change for me as well.      Soon the kids will be out of School for the Summer,   so I am going to enjoy my quiet time while it is here.

Time to head to my Master Suite and relax the rest of the evening……….Yes,  it is truly what I call my “Master Retreat”.    It is sooooooooo nice to have a large and in charge bedroom,  bathroom and closet.     Goodness knows I have the clothes to fill it!

I sure have been very busy still getting the house all spruced up.    It has been fun,  but lots of work!   It is all turning out really nicely though.     I can’t believe we have been here for over a week already.    The time sure does fly by.

This weekend will be fun for us.    On Easter Sunday we are taking the kids to an amazing outdoor place and will have a very fun Easter egg hunt for them.    They will get a big kick out of that.   What a great event for some fantastic pictures!    Definitely will be a day to remember.

It is chilly here tonight.    The winds are still strong and the air temperature is cool for this time of year.    Definitely great snuggling weather tonight.     I was on the balcony for a few minutes,   but got too chilled,  so I am came inside.    In a couple of days,  it will be very warm again,  so this cool down is short-lived.

How you all been doing?    Work going well and home life good for you?    The kids are adapting very well here.    I didn’t suspect there would be any major problems,   just little things here and there,  but nothing out of the ordinary.     School for them is going good as well.     This move for us was very smooth.    Stressful at times,  of course,  but definitely nothing bad took place.

I am very tired tonight.    This cool weather and my busy day has left me with not much energy tonight,  so I am going to go snuggle in my bed,  watch the news and soon be in lala land……….

Yes,  I made it to my new home………It was one hell of a drive,  but we made it safe and sound.     We have been busy busy busy from morning to night,   and I fall into bed each night exhausted.    I still have lots to do,   but I am here.    I will be able to write quite a bit more in the upcoming days,    but I don’t have much time to sit here and write out a long blog.    Way too much to do still!

I will  write more tomorrow evening and the next night.     It has been really fun for us so far,   and between unpacking,  getting the kids enrolled into school and running to this store for this and that store for that,  we have not even had much time for any fun sightseeing yet.     But I feel that we have the rest of our lives here to do so.

Just think that in 24some hours from now we will be on the road,   starting a new life in a whole new place.   A place we have been longing to be.    It all seems so unreal yet to me.     I am feeling really emotional right now,  and I didn’t think I would be.    My whole life from the time I left my Mothers womb,  to now has been spent here.   I will miss some of it.    But I am also looking forward to the change.

Last night my Dad had us all meet up for pizza for our one last dinner together.    It was actually bitter-sweet.    There were quite a few emotions,   some not shown,  but I know they are there.    I felt like I was almost saying good bye forever,  but I know that I am not.   We will be around again someday.    Besides,  I am just a phone call away.   Sometimes hearing someones voice and feeling they are near can be good enough.

Today is crunch day.    Make sure this house is prim and proper,   all the final things are packed onto the trailer and truck that my Dad rented for us.     If it wasn’t for him,  I would have been forced to leave behind some of the things that really meant a lot to me,  as they wouldn’t fit onto the truck.    That was very very nice of him to do.    He said last night that where we are moving to,  it is a good 900 miles from here.   Wow,  just think of that.    That is quite a good distance!!     I will just be happy when we get there.

My internet and tv will be shut off some time today,  so I thought I would blog one final time before hitting the road.    I will have access again on Monday,  so that isn’t too bad.    Hopefully on Monday night,  I will get another blog entry back up so you all know that I made it safe and sound.

Yesterday we hit 65 degrees,  and it was so nice.   Today they are calling for 2-3″ of rain/snow mix.   Go figure!    Just exactly the kind of weather that I definitely will not miss.     So many changes ahead.   I welcome them all with open arms.   Everyone in life needs a change at some point.    This just happens to be one of the biggest we will have made.

Oh how tired I am.   It is only 5:00 AM here,   and I just couldn’t sleep any longer.   My mind is full of too many thoughts.    Sleep will come again tonight for me.    The last night here.     The moving company called yesterday already and said that the truck is due to arrive today.    I was like:   “What already??”    We won’t be there until Sunday evening,  but they will deliver our goods on Monday instead.    That is good.    So it looks like we may only be sleeping on the floor at the new place for only 1 night instead of 2.     That much better to me!   I will be very happy to have my bed back again.   I know the kids will be also.

Today is their last day at their school.    The teachers have some nice things planned for them.   I know they will adapt fine.    Within a couple of weeks,  they will make new friends.     Kids adjust easier than people give them credit for.    I do expect a few attitude problems (not like there isn’t any now),  but I will be more understanding when/if it does happen.    To me that is all human nature.    As long as they have Mommy and Daddy,  they will be happy.    We are rarely ever apart from them,   so they lean on us quite a bit,  and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Well even though I am awake before the birds,   I feel like I should put a dent into my cleaning,  so off I go to start the final stages of that.     It is amazing how fast the day goes by when you have so much to do.

So far,  all is going well.    The truck was delivered on Monday,   and husband and I spent a good 3 hours loading boxes,  bags and small stuff onto it.    When we were done for the night,   I told him that I had a feeling that not all of my stuff would fit.    Tuesday night the movers came over (around 6:45PM) and started moving the furniture into the truck.     It was like a puzzle,   putting the pieces of furniture just right here and there to get the most out of the space that was available.    They did an awesome job.     5 hours later they were done.    Exhausted,  tired,   happy to be done.    We chatted with them for another 40 some minutes and by the time they left and we finally hit the air mattress bed,    it was almost 2:00AM.     I don’t know if that air mattress is that comfortable,  or if we didn’t notice because we were both so damn tired.

Either way we slept well.   I only woke up early this AM to the sound of the TV downstairs blaring at the highest volume from my Son.    The new house will be bigger,   so I am hoping the noise level will be more contained.      I have so much more to talk about and things to report,   but I am quite tired tonight.   I will write more tomorrow.      I have not had a chance to be online the last few days,   but rest assured,  I am here.

So we are very very close to done being packed.     Now we have the stress of matching paint to these walls here.    The Landlord didn’t leave any useable paint behind,   so all we had was the color swatches and codes on top of each can.      So tonight we tried to touch up an area on the wall that we had mixed,  and lo and behold,  the damn color is off!    So pissed!    We cannot return the paint,  and now we have to wait and see if the Landlord will expect us to repaint the whole entire room now.    OH MY GOD!   That had better not be the case.    I don’t have time for that nonsense.     The only stressful thing now is the frickin painting here.    This is one of those times that I would love to say “Fuck it” and leave.     If only!

Oh well,   at least my headache is finally gone tonight.   Sure took a while.    I really look forward to sleep tonight.    I was sure that with the daylight savings time change,  my Son would be awake even earlier than usual,  but he wasn’t!    That was a very good thing this morning.

Tomorrow the moving truck will be delivered.    Tomorrow night we will be super busy loading it full of our boxes.    Tuesday the moving men come and load the big stuff and then off it goes……..It will be a big sigh of relief once it is all loaded up.

I am incredibly exhausted,  so I think I am very ready for bed soon.

I was a super busy beaver (not literally of course) today…………And tonight even!   Now my house is very empty.   The Landlord did a tour of the house last night with us,   so we know exactly what to do after all the furniture is gone.     We will have about 3 days to do the deep cleaning,  so that is nice.

This weekend will be very busy again.   Every day next week will be the same way,   maybe not as crazy on Wednesday or Thursday,   but that would not be a bad thing,  let me tell you.     Even when we finally get to our new home,   we will be very busy for several days,  maybe even weeks.      We meet with the school on that Wednesday to enroll the kiddos and I am thinking they will start that Thursday already.     Give them a chance to get familiar with the new school,   make a friend or two.     I am still quite excited about all the changes ahead.      I just wish it was all complete now,  but am working on the patience factor of mine……..Gets better with age!   Just like fine wine………

Tomorrow night we are going out together,  with friends for once in a very long time!!!   How cool is that?   My hubs already got a great table reserved for all of us,  so all we have to do is show up,  sit down and have fun the rest of the night.     It will be very nice to be out with other adults.     Goodness knows that I don’t get out hardly ever.    I used to go out once in a great while with my old GF,   but she is a just a major piece of work.   I have had no desire to talk to her in some time now.     Life is stressful enough,  don’t need any added drama from a “friend”.    If that is what it is like,  then I would rather not have a friend at all!!

Time for me to get some needed rest.    I have not had a full night of solid sleep in some time now.    I woke up way too early today,  and I am hoping,  just hoping that maybe tonight my sleep will be better.    It will catch up to me sooner or later.    It usually does for us all……

Well I have been super duper busy…………Been packing like a wild woman.    I am now officially a good 3/4 done!   The truck is being delivered Monday,  and the moving men are loading it on Tuesday.    So for 4 nights we will have to “suffer” without our beds,  and most likely live off of cold cuts and fast food,  but that is a small sacrifice for the big day ahead!

Today I sold our washer/dryer.    The new house already comes equipped with all that,  so there was no reason to transport ours.   It just takes up quite a bit of extra room on the truck anyway.     So that will be that much extra space for other things!    Oh and that HUGE box I had thought would fit all my shoes?   Well that sure didn’t happen.   I ended up with that huge box and 3 others for just the shoes/boots.    That is also after getting rid of a dozen pairs that I realized I had not worn.     So yes,  too many shoes,  but doesn’t most of us women out there have way too many pairs?      I do have to say that a few of these boxes are way too heavy for us to lift,  so the moving men will have the honor of doing that also.    Hey,  they are getting paid to do it,  so might as well.

And did I ever mention that my most favorite Sister is coming along???   How cool is that?    She is driving with us there and will stay for almost a week.     Then she will fly home.    Already got the airline reserved.   That will be nice,  having an extra set of hands to help here and there.    I won’t be spending the whole week she is there unpacking though.    We plan to do some sight seeing,  showing her around the town.     As long as I get mine and the kids beds together and the food all in the refrigerator, etc.  I will be good!   The rest of the stuff I can unpack here and there over the next week or two.     Besides,  we already have an appt. to get the kiddos enrolled in their new schools that Tuesday,  so am hoping that Wednesday they will start.     There is not much school left for the year anyway,  but at least they will get familiar with the new school,  make a couple of friends and be ready again come August.

Things are shaping up just fine!    Everything has gone really smooth so far,  and I hope it continues to be that way.     This Saturday night my husband and I are going out with a few friends.    Our last night out for some time.    It will be a fun night,   a night to say good-bye to them,  have a drink or two,  share some laughs.    Now as long as I drink slowly,   I will be good.     Even fill up on ice water,  since after 2 darn drinks I am feeling quite good.    So many things coming up the next few days!   So exciting!

Well I am tired.   It has been quite a busy day and now I am exhausted.    A solid night of sleep I hope will be mine tonight.
